This role is not remote and requires in-person work. You will start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time from January to April, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Position:
Multi-Unit Team Leader — leadership over three H&R Block tax offices, guiding customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.
- Provide leadership to the teams in three tax offices
- Lead the front-line development and supervision of associates, deliver an outstanding client experience, and achieve office growth objectives
- Grow and manage office staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders
- Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office growth plans and client growth targets
- Develop local partnerships and manage office community involvement
- Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions
- Conduct timely performance reviews and collaborate with the Associate Relations Center to resolve issues
- Foster an engaging team environment through coaching and recognizing contributions
- Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to associates
- Create associate work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor across offices
- Travel between offices as required
- Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment
- People management experience with a track record of growing and developing associates
- Aptitude for executing growth plans and leading a growth-oriented culture
- Strong decision-making, judgment, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
- Computer proficiency in MS Office
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)

PayPay range: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Actual pay decisions depend on experience, education, and location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and benefits described above.
