Bookkeeper
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations for a local business. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping financial records organized, managing multiple priorities, and working independently.
Key Responsibilities- Enter and maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, payments, and deposits.
- Prepare customer invoices, process vendor bills, and track accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Monitor outstanding customer balances and follow up on payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements, researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Organize receipts, invoices, and supporting financial documentation.
- Assist with payroll processing and related recordkeeping.
- Prepare monthly financial summaries and expense reports.
- Coordinate with the external accountant or CPA to provide records for tax preparation and financial reporting.
- Use Quick Books, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets to maintain and review financial information.
- Handle confidential business and financial information with care.
