Position: Full Time Dispatch Operator

Job Summary

Dispatch Operators are responsible for answering phone calls for Pacific Security and directing callers to the proper personnel, as well as real‑time monitoring of clock‑ins/outs, site tours, addressing technical and operational issues, and maintaining high standards of quality control.

This position plays a critical role in verifying site coverage, responding to emergencies, and ensuring compliance with company protocols and client expectations.

Essential Functions Amtelco
  • Receiving and categorizing phone calls to Pacific Security through our Dispatch software.
  • Routing calls to appropriate personnel when required.
  • Callers may include employees requesting time clock or site duty assistance, clients with service requests, potential security service contracts, job seekers for Pacific Security, and non‑employees or clients with service questions or complaints.
Celayix
  • Perform routine functions related to employee time clock requests.
  • Monitor email notifications of missed clock‑ins/outs in real time.
  • Process missed clock‑ins/outs and update employee files accordingly.
  • Open or close shifts as needed and communicate details to Operations.
  • Process call offs.
  • Troubleshoot technical app issues with guards.
Mobileo
  • Monitor email notifications from the system.
  • Contact guards when tours are incomplete or buttons are not scanned.
  • Communicate button or tour issues to Operations.
  • Respond to emergency alerts promptly.
  • Unlock employee accounts as requested.
Other Duties

Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Experience with time‑keeping, scheduling, and operations systems.
  • Thorough, detail‑oriented with keen observation skills.
  • Calm and professional response in emergency and high‑stress situations.
  • Sound judgment and decision‑making skills.
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The role is performed in an office environment with regular exposure to computers, copy, and fax machines. The noise level is usually moderate. The employee will sit for most of the day, use hands to type and reach, and occasionally walk or stand. They may lift up to 10 pounds.
