Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Data Systems Analyst you will be responsible for producing and tracking the day-to-day flow of various reports and Servicing Agreements along with updating and maintaining Policies and Procedures. This position will also be required to create and maintain various adhoc reports to support the Investor Reporting Department.
- Creating and maintaining various databases for reporting and tracking purposes, including tracking, reconciling, and reporting supplemental proceeds, losses, and tracking loss severities.
- Collecting and reviewing data files, including Sale Files, Prefund Files, and Loan Substitution Files to ensure Loan Accounting, Inventory Management, and Investor Reporting have performed all necessary tasks prior to the stated cutoff.
- Creating and maintaining Investor Reporting Policies and Procedures and process flows for all Investor Reporting processes.
- Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, and SQL skills.
- Word, Accounting software, Internet software, Mortgage Serv, and/or other mortgage servicing systems knowledge.
- General organizational, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to amortize loan payments.
- Experience with Python.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working on a team or in cross‑functional work groups, project management and/or process improvement.
- Experience with Investor Reporting.
