We specialize in assisted living and memory care. Highgate Senior Living's mission is to devote ourselves to help eachresident live a life of purpose and each of us plays a crucial role in doingso.

We operate communities in the western US and are seeking the right Wellness Concierge to join our team. Come helpus create an environment that promotes a sense of well-being and the feeling oftrue community in a gracious, homelike setting. This position is responsible to safely provide wellness services to our residents that promote overall feelings of well-being through multiple methods. This can include, and are not limited to:hydrospa therapy, hand and foot massage, personalized physical exerciseregimens, Highgate aromatherapy program and massage chair sessions.

The successful candidate will be motivated by service, an organized anddetail-oriented individual with a positive and self-motivated attitude. Youmust have strong communication and computer skills. Excellent time management skills are important along with relationship building, persistence, flexibility,and adaptability. You must want tohave fun and spend time with others to be successful in this role.

SKILLS NEEDED:

• Confidence to engage with seniorswhile providing hands on care and service
• Creativity to provide a relaxingenvironment for our residents receiving wellness services
• Business acumen to manage the operating costs of the wellness areas and various services
• Communication skills to interact with various vendors in coordinating various services for residents
• Proficient with basic computer skills
• Ability to connect with residents at different physical and cognitive functional levels
• Team player with ability to develop strong working relationships along with customer service focus
• Ability to adapt/respond quickly tothe needs and preferences of our residents
• An understanding or the willingness togain an understanding of the various forms of dementia and how to helpresidents with dementia still live with purpose
• Knowledge of mindfulness, relaxationstrategies useful for older adults

RELATABLE

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in coordinating, scheduling,and implementing salon and wellness services
• Past experiences where you have provided assistant services for individuals or groups
• Past roles in which you have been a multi-tasker, attending to the needs of others while monitoring the overall environment
• Jobs you’ve had that include working with seniors or other vulnerable populations
• Previous positions where you have provided hands on care or service
• Experiences that have given you a familiarity with the senior population and how aging can affect a person
• Experience in Assisted Living/Healthcare wellness service delivery

1-At least 21 years of age

2-Current state required caregiving license or the ability to obtain one within a designated timeline

4-Willingness to learn how to work in ahealthcare/assisted living environment

5-Current First Aid and CPR certification or the ability to obtain

6-Ability to pass criminal record/background check

7-Meet all criteria as required by stateand local agencies

8-Good time management, organization,and scheduling skills

9-Must be able to work well independently with little oversight

As an organization we offer our team members agood benefits package, the ability to be heard, have their opinions count andthe opportunity to innovate. Our compensation package will be flexible for this role based on the credentialing,tenure and skill sets each candidate brings for consideration. The starting hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $22.00 per hour. Prior experience in seniors housing programmingis preferred.
