Schedule: Full-time (38 hours/week) - Sun - Tues, 12:00pm - Midnight &, Thurs, 12pm-2pm
Wage: $30.90-$46.22/hr DOE
Licensed Scale: $32.78-$48.65/hr DOE

Compass Health is seeking a Clinician II to join our Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) in Bellingham. In this high-impact role, you'll deliver critical, in-the-moment behavioral health services to individuals of all ages experiencing acute mental health crises. You'll work across community settings—including homes, schools, shelters, and public spaces—bringing stability, compassion, and recovery-focused care when and where it's needed most.
This is a full-time float position offering 12-hour shifts and dynamic day-to-day work throughout Whatcom County. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and want to help individuals navigate mental health crises with dignity and support, we'd love to meet you.
Responsibilities- Provide in-person crisis assessments and stabilization support across community settings
- Evaluate individuals in acute crisis and coordinate least-restrictive, trauma-informed interventions
- Partner with first responders, families, and clinical teams to ensure safety and continuity of care
- Determine need for ITA evaluation, complete affidavits, and participate in court proceedings as required
- Serve in a rotation for after-hours emergency response, including outreach and de-escalation
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and meet service hour expectations
- MA/MS/MSW in a Behavioral Science-related field
- Mental Health Professional (MHP) status per WAC
- Valid WA State Driver's License, insurance, and reliable transportation
- Training or willingness to obtain in Motivational Interviewing, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Care
- Knowledge of or interest in Evidence-Based Practices
- Must submit Agency Affiliated Counselor application upon hire if unlicensed
