Medical Assistant/ Xray Technician
Mt. Baker Pain Clinic located in Bellingham, Washington is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant/X-Ray Technician to join our growing medical team. We specialize in the treatment of back, neck, and joint pain, sciatica, cancer-related pain, and other chronic pain conditions. Our mission is to help patients regain control of their lives through individualized, patient-centered pain management plans.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate C-Arm imaging equipment during procedures in our surgery center
- Prepare procedure rooms and maintain strict sterile techniques
- Sterilize medical equipment and operate autoclave
- Room patients and assist providers in clinic
- Create, update, and maintain accurate patient PHI within the EMR
- Deliver high-quality patient care through in-person, telephone, and electronic communication
- Work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff to support patient flow
Qualifications:
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work independently with limited supervision while anticipating workflow needs
- Adaptable, flexible, and team-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of human anatomy is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to wear a lead apron (approximately 15 lbs) while standing for a 10-hour shift
Education &
Competencies:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- MA or NA Certification through the Washington State Department of Health (Must be willing to obtain X-Ray Certification through on-the-job training)
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation
- Previous CMA or CNA experience preferred (Willing to train the right candidate to obtain MA-R)
Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
