We’re seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) with school-based experience to support students at a respected educational facility in Lynden,WA. This is a fantastic opportunity toenhance your interpreting skills in a collaborative and student-centered environment. You’ll play a key role in facilitating communication by interpreting educational and general content using

American Sign Language (ASL) or other appropriate methods for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. If you are passionate about student success, possess strong communication skills, andthrive in a supportive role, we’d love to connect with you

• Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation services to students and staff
• Interpret a variety of spoken content, including lectures,discussions, meetings, events, and announcements
• Evaluate accommodation requests and coordinate interpreting services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Ensure all services are compliant with Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

• High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
• Certification in American Sign Language (ASL) via BEI orRID
• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required
• Minimum of 6 months of recent experience within the last 5 years preferred
