Job Description
An ALL4 Air Quality Senior Managing Consultant is an experienced and proven Managing Consultant with the ability to independently maintain, expand, and drive business while representing ALL4’s values and business goals. This consultant has a mastery of the consulting financial model and project management fundamentals as well as strong technical expertise in air quality permitting and compliance. They serve as the client’s primary point of contact, manage significant revenue, and ensure the objectives of their projects are accomplished in accordance with contractual requirements and the ALL4 standard of excellence.
This individual is committed to furthering our vision as a globally recognized consulting company shaping environmental responsibility and creating distinction for employees, clients, and partners. The Senior Managing Consultant will work in ALL4’s Houston Office.
- Plan, manage, and execute all relevant project tasks for multiple projects across industries by developing project proposals and plans to determine time frame, budget, allotment of resources, and procedures for executing and completing projects, while serving as each client’s primary point of contact.
- Prepare and execute high-level technical and consulting work and mentor others on how to do the same.
- Monitor and control project activities to achieve project milestones and financial performance objectives.
- Effectively and proactively communicate project information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Cultivate and lead projects already under contract and expand business with existing clients.
- Influence direct client labor revenue through a combination of managing, growing, and/or selling.
- Responsible for meeting ALL4 profitability targets and personal utilization goals.
- Cultivate, maintain, and grow annual client portfolio of greater than $1MM.
- Demonstrate expertise in business financials and a keen understanding of the consulting business model.
- Master the ALL4 sales process and demonstrate ability to support new‑business opportunities from introduction to closure.
- Generate new business in conjunction with business development professionals consistent with personal business plans.
- Own the transition of client relationships to Managing Consultants, resulting in increased opportunities for professional growth of others. Remain vested in the client and assist with any issues or concerns after client transition and proactively obtain client feedback.
- Proactively engage with clients to discuss project costs, scope changes, and outstanding accounts receivable. Commitment to an ALL4 first stance on managing project budgets, project team commitments, and financial relationships.
- Review client invoices consistent with established schedule and ensure project opening and closing meetings and documentation is completed consistent with established schedule.
- Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory organizations and provide interpretation, review, and strategic analysis of Federal, state, and local environmental regulations to clients.
- Implement and monitor project procedures to ensure the quality of project deliverables and attainment of contractual agreements.
- Ensure compliance of projects with ALL4 quality assurance guidelines with the assistance of our quality resources and team.
- Responsible for the health and safety component of project fieldwork (e.g., development of on‑site health and safety plans).
- Conduct regular meetings with project teams on status of work.
- Exhibit ALL4’s core values in all transactions (internally and externally) and mentor junior technical staff.
- May be required to coordinate (manage) staff.
- Demonstrate a high‑level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Engineering or applicable environmental/science degree and collective experiences equivalent to >7 years of consulting project management experience.
- Working knowledge of technical sectors in the chemical, data center, and/or power industries.
