Ingredients tech

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Ingredients tech to join their team. As a Ingredients tech, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Dry Ingredients Team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

BELLINGHAM, WA

• Portion dry ingredients according to recipes for current production
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of dry ingredients and supplies
• Document usage and lot numbers of ingredients using electronic systems and paper records
• Disassemble work stations and clean ingredient rooms and equipment
• Store unused ingredients appropriately and ensure compliance with food safety procedures

• No prior experience or training required
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions from cooking outlines
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors and co-workers
• Ability to read a scale and match units to recipes
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems involving concrete variables
