RN - Critical Care Float (Full-Time Nights)

This Full-Time (0.90 FTE), Night Shift position offers the opportunity to work alongside exceptional clinicians while caring for some of our most complex and vulnerable patients.

Compensation & Incentives
  • Salary Range: $45.78 - $82.98 per hour
  • Float Differential: $4.50 per hour
  • Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications
  • Hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be available
  • Position represented by a collective bargaining agreement

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care for critically ill patients.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
  • Delegate and coordinate care appropriately while supporting team success.
  • Contribute to patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention initiatives.

    Maintain clinical excellence through ongoing education and professional development.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and communication skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • One year of RN experience in an acute care or critical care setting
Required Certifications

The following certifications are required within six months of hire:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
