American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with cardiac scrub experience and strong ortho/neuro skills for a day-shift assignment requiring cardiac call.
Requirements- Active WA RN license (Standard or Compact) or proof of application required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years recent cardiac scrub experience required
- Strong ortho/neuro OR experience required
- Epic EMR experience preferred, especially within the last year
- Two professional references from the past 2 years required, including at least one supervisor reference
- Candidates with more than one DUI are not eligible for consideration
- Operating Room setting, primarily main OR with occasional cardiac cases
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Cardiac call required, including one weekday evening/night per week and one 72-hour weekend per month
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Float as needed within the health system, with River Bend travelers occasionally floating to University District
- Perform surgical scrub duties across a range of procedures including vascular, gynecologic, general, orthopedic, robotic, neurologic, urologic, and trauma surgeries
- Provide care in both general OR and hybrid OR settings, including trauma cases
- Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
- Experience with robotic surgical systems such as Da Vinci Xi is a plus
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Previous Peace Health employees must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Up to 3 RTO days may be approved for auto-offer positions, or up to 7 days for regular offers, with no additional RTO approved after contract signing
- Start date may be delayed up to 8 weeks if Washington license is still in process
