We have an immediate opening for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in our Bellingham, WA facility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain QA processes, SOPs, and quality metrics.
• Plan and execute internal quality audits; document findings and follow up on corrective actions.
• Domestic and International travel to suppliers, factories and trade shows.
• Review quality control inspections to ensure processes are effective and compliant.
• Lead root cause analyses and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence of defects.
• Work closely with product development to review designs and ensure quality considerations are built in from the start.
• Support supplier quality assurance by reviewing quality plans, coordinating audits, and monitoring supplier performance.
• Review and approve test protocols, inspection criteria, and quality control documentation for new and existing products.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Generate quality reports and present findings to management with clear recommendations.
• Maintain familiarity with safety and regulatory standards relevant to the product line.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Assist in training and onboarding of staff on QA procedures and best practices.
• Help develop documentation, guides, and training content for quality processes.
• Support customer service teams with escalated quality‑related issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross‑departmental projects.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and statistical/QA tools (e.g., Minitab, SPC software).
• Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing and QA at a machinery, automotive or consumer electronics manufacturer.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with complex engineering and/or manufacturing processes.
• Must be self‑driven and able to deliver results while working independently.
• Organized, detail oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, structured environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
