• Understand Orkin’s products and services and how to sell them to a variety of industries.
• Make strategic recommendations to new and existing customers to help prevent pests, uphold quality and safety, and satisfy regulatory standards.
• Build trusted relationships with customers as an essential partner for their business.
• Listen to customer needs and clearly explain practical solutions to win over customers with confidence and care.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as an empathetic problem solver for commercial customers using in-depth training to recommend the best overall solution.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads; utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
• Conduct inspections of the interior and exterior of the customer’s commercial property (training provided).
• Make recommendations based on inspections, address questions, explain solutions, and set expectations for pest programs.
• Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized (training provided).

• Minimum Requirements:
  
  No Experience Required;
  Sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients.

  Working Conditions:
  
  Capable of safely performing duties, including climbing ladders within weight limits, lifting up to 50 lbs., accessing crawl spaces, attics, and other tight spaces, wearing PPE, and working in varying weather conditions.
