Security Officer – Armed Guard

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service.

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment within financial institution locations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help deter unauthorized access and report suspicious activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and/or customers in a courteous manner, providing assistance as needed while upholding security-related protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when required, following established escalation procedures.

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
