The American Alpine Institute is seeking competent and dependable people who are enthusiastic about the outdoor community, climbing, and working for a company that is committed to providing the best mountain education in America.
The successful applicant will possess most of the following attributes:
- Experience using climbing, mountaineering, skiing, and backpacking equipment
- Flexibility in scheduling, and available on early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to work effectively both in a team and individually
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and teach others
- Pride in work and a sense of accomplishment in completing tasks
- High level of personal responsibility
- Honest and dependable
