Delivery Helper

Gypsum Management and Supply is looking for a Delivery Helper to load, deliver, and maintain equipment and trucks, ensuring jobs are safely completed and ready for the next day.

Primary functions include loading, locating job sites, backing, preparing and restoring the job site, staging the truck for the next day, and maintaining the truck and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, particularly OSHA and DOT.
• Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure order accuracy.
• Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area per customer direction.
• Secure mud, equipment, metal and pallets on truck.
• Navigates routes to the job site.

• Read, write and communicate information accurately.
• Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. (drywall materials, joint compound).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team, communicating professionally.
• Friendly, trustworthy, servant‑leader mindset, valuing diverse perspectives.
• Self‑management, initiative, proactive, and results‑driven.
• Ability to lead, execute and delegate as needed.

• Remain standing 90% of the time.
• Move constantly from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles to the job site.
• Load/unload materials from flatbed or boom.
• Frequently move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Communicate with management and coworkers accurately in various situations.
• Work outdoors while making deliveries.

• Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
• Manage stress depending on customer deadlines.
• Multi‑task effectively.
• Receive information and directions promptly.
• Quickly communicate solutions if problems occur.
• Demonstrate sound judgment.

Base salary: $0.00 to $25.00 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on location, education, training, and experience. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime. Performance‑based bonus or commissions may apply.
