Overview

The Shift Leader oversees all restaurant activities during their shift, ensuring smooth store operations, exceptional guest service, and adherence to company standards. They interact with guests, supervise staff, handle cash management, and maintain cleanliness and safety. The Shift Leader works hands-on as needed, partners with the Management Team to execute the business plan, provides training to others, and resolves issues promptly while enforcing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and ensure efficient guest service and store performance
• Supervise staff, provide training, and reinforce policy adherence
• Interact with guests and resolve concerns promptly and effectively
• Manage cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with cash control guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and safety to uphold brand image
• Plan and execute shift operations, manage resources, and control costs
• Support the Management Team in achieving business goals
• Identify and develop talent for future roles
• Handle multiple restaurant stations as needed
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent; restaurant management experience preferred
• Previous fast food restaurant experience required
• Strong communication in English;
  Spanish helpful
• Fundamental reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills
• Strong leadership, calm and professional under pressure
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work multiple stations
• Positive attitude with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction
• Respectful, supportive interpersonal approach
• Reliability with prompt and regular attendance
• Reliable transportation to work and company events
• Willingness to work varied days/hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods; ability to perform routine restaurant tasks
