As a Retail Sales Associate at Curaleaf, you are the face of our brand and the go‑to expert for customers, helping them explore cannabis products and delivering top‑tier service at every interaction.

• Greet and assist all guests in a warm, professional manner to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Build strong connections with customers, ask thoughtful questions, and offer personalized product advice.
• Address concerns with professionalism and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Encourage loyalty by signing guests up for rewards programs.
• Work closely with your team to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and upbeat atmosphere.

• Help open and close the store, handle cash, and follow all procedures and regulations.
• Check IDs, update customer profiles, and process transactions accurately.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Support inventory tasks such as restocking, fulfilling online orders, and counting products.
• Consistently meet and exceed daily sales goals by upselling and using product knowledge.
• Highlight deals and complementary items at checkout to boost customer satisfaction.
• Maintain awareness of promotions and product updates for a seamless customer experience.
• Adapt to a fast‑paced, ever‑changing retail environment.
• Take on additional duties as needed to support team and store success.

• A high school diploma or GED.
• At least six months of experience in a customer‑facing or sales role focused on service and satisfaction.
• At least six months of experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
• A capacity to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a compliance‑driven environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with customers and team members alike.
• Strong multitasking abilities and agility to shift priorities as needed.
• Comfort with technology and willingness to learn new tools.
• Solid time‑management and organizational skills.
• Effective de‑escalation techniques and a calm, solution‑oriented approach to handling customer concerns.
• Basic proficiency in math and computer applications to support transactions and reporting.
• A positive, proactive mindset and strong conflict resolution skills.
• Initiative and a team‑first attitude, with readiness to support store leadership.
• A natural ability to build rapport and maintain lasting customer relationships.

• A background in a sales role focused on tracking KPIs and meeting sales targets.
• Familiarity with e‑commerce systems and order fulfillment processes.
• Previous experience within a regulated retail setting.

The role requires standing for extended periods, walking, talking or hearing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, using hands and fingers, and lifting up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds). Close vision at 20 inches or less is required. The position has allergen warnings, including exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens, and requires working in confined spaces and a high‑stress tolerance.
