The pay for this position is $24.50-$27.5991 per hour.

Position Purpose :

Ensures coordination and delivery of services to a designated program. Provides leadership to and supervision of direct service staff and is responsible for day-to-day operations of the program and provision of care to residents. Assists in the establishment and monitoring of services to residents and implementation of the residents’ Individual Care Plans and Residential Care Plans. Assures compliance with federal, state and local guidelines pertaining to house operation.

Manages shift operations of the designated program and services to residents.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Directly hires and supervises a team of Residential Specialists.
  • Assesses risk routinely throughout shift and is responsible for acting promptly to manage environment of care, in collaboration with program coordinator(s).
  • Serves as the leader and point person for the shift on which they work.
  • Reviews and maintains shift documentation in resident’s charts.
  • Monitors compliance of HCRS and designated program’s policy and procedures along with Residential Care Home Licensing Regulations.
  • Supports scheduling and arranges transportation to resident appointments.
  • Collaborates with designated program care team/treatment team and other members of the leadership team to create a therapeutic environment that supports and sustains residents’ objectives as outlined in care plans.
  • Communicate observations as necessary to care team/treatment team in a prompt and understandable fashion.
  • Promote self-advocacy skills and advocate for residents when necessary.
  • Role models appropriate resident interactions to other program staff, guests, and community members.
  • Maintains a safe and clean home environment.
  • Promotes a culture that aligns with HCRS Residential Unifying Values and Principles.
  • Supervises residents in taking medication, once trained in medication delegation.
  • When required, communicates with community services such as Emergency Services, Police, EMS, Fire Department, etc.
  • Ensures adequate staff coverage on shift following the program’s ratio policy. May be required to maintain ratio by providing as needed shift coverage.
  • May be responsible for supporting management of house budgets, including those for food, activities, household needs, and petty cash accounts
  • Delegates tasks to be completed by residential team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Scope of Position:

  • Serves on leadership team of 3 to 8 persons, overseeing overall program staff of 12 (twelve) to 40 (forty) subordinate staff
  • Up to 6 (six) to 8 (eight) residents served at any given time.
