As Senior Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing commercial support during pre-construction and design phases
* Advising on NEC contract strategy and risk management
* Supporting bid, tender and pricing activities
* Reviewing scopes of work and contract documentation
* Cost planning and commercial forecasting
* Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
* Supporting project teams with commercial and contractual guidance
* Working closely with design, engineering and operational teams
* Developing strong client and stakeholder relationships
* Ensuring commercial best practice is embedded throughout project development

* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
* Experience with in utilities, energy, power, infrastructure or civil engineering projects
* A background in pre-construction, estimating, commercial advisory or early-stage project support
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Strong commercial acumen and risk awareness
* The ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
What's On Offer?
* Salary up to £75,000
* Car Allowance
* Hybrid working (2 days office / 3 days home)
* Choice of office location across central belt Scotland
* Long-term career development opportunities
* Exposure to major infrastructure and utilities projects
* Opportunity to influence projects at the earliest stages of delivery
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded professional who enjoys influencing project outcomes, working collaboratively with stakeholders and providing strategic commercial input rather than solely focusing on post-contract project delivery.
