Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Due to our ongoing growth, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team based in our Glasgow office.

About the role-

As part of the Engineering Design team you will be involved in producing a broad range of conceptual to fully detailed designs covering things such as District and Communal Heating Systems, Energy Centres, Tri-generation Solutions and Heat Pumps Due to the nature of the role you will be involved in projects at a variety of stages and locations utilising a range of technologies requiring initial conceptual work, site investigations, surveys, client meetings, project submissions and presentations

Key responsibilities-

• Supporting the design of distributed energy schemes, energy centres, district heating networks and other major projects
• Interpreting, appraising and documenting client requirements
• Carrying out calculations, equipment selection and process operation
• Producing schematics and detailed drawings
