The Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting continuous improvement across the finance function. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone proactive and adaptable, with strong technical skills and the confidence to work autonomously.

• Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting a 5‑day month‑end close
• Posting journals including accruals and prepayments
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany
• Completing VAT returns and assisting with statutory reporting
• Supporting year‑end audit and liaising with external advisors
• Assisting with ad‑hoc projects
• Building strong relationships across the business and providing financial insight

• Part‑qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in management accounting within industry (SME or manufacturing preferred)
• Genuinely strong Excel skills
• Power BI experience desirable
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage non‑finance stakeholders
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment

• Salary circa £40,000
