HFD Group Ltd is now expanding with a number of major projects underway and need enthusiastic, dependable and experienced Security Officers to join the team. We are a major UK property business specialising in commercial property development, construction, property management, data services and all aspects of asset management services. For 30 years we have been providing our tenants and clients with the best sustainable working environment possible.

You will be joining an established and growing team of dedicated Security Officers who provide both in-house and client security requirements. The role requires a proactive security professional who is able to maintain high levels of standards in regard to performance, appearance and discipline. Your role would be to provide proactive security, maintaining high level performance, appearance, and discipline. You will provide cover at Strathclyde Business Park, Bellshill, and Hamilton International Technology Park, Blantyre.

Key responsibilities include (though will not be limited to):

• Protection of property
• Prevention of loss, waste and damage
• Monitoring and responding to safety risks
• Prevention and detection of crime
• Responding to alarm activations and conducting mobile security patrols on foot
• Patrolling company and client premises
• Being responsible for the safety and security of customers, clients and staff
• Incident report writing

Minimum skills required include:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy
• A reasonable level of physical fitness
• A confident manner and the ability to handle confrontation when necessary
• Flexible, willing to adapt to new tasks and duties with a positive attitude.
• Valid SIA Manned Guarding Licence
• A valid CCTV SIA Licence is an advantage
• A valid UK Driving Licence

Working hours 48 hours per week.
