Software Engineer, App Developer - Mobile​/Web, Full Stack Developer

Salary: £55,000 - 65,000 per year

• Strong commercial experience with Flutter
• Cross-platform mobile application development experience
• Experience developing applications that interact with physical hardware or integrated devices
• Experience with APIs, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB, or similar communication methods
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, CI/CD, and maintainable architecture
• Ability to work autonomously within a small, highly collaborative engineering team
• React or JavaScript web development experience is desirable
• Cloud or web-based application environment experience is desirable
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms is desirable
• IoT or connected ecosystem development experience is desirable
• Medical device or regulated industry experience is desirable
• C/C++ exposure is desirable
• Cybersecurity or GDPR awareness is desirable

• Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter
• Support the migration of legacy mobile applications into a modern Flutter architecture
• Develop applications that communicate directly with hardware systems and specialist devices
• Contribute to software architecture, scalability, and maintainability across mobile and web platforms
• Work with APIs, communication protocols, and integrated systems
• Support CI/CD, automated testing, and software engineering best practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including software, electronics, and mechanical engineering
• Participate in technical discussions around future web, cloud, and platform development
• Produce technical documentation and support product lifecycle activities
