We’re looking for a motivated and reliable HGV Apprentice to join our team in Bellshill. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a Level 2 Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) qualification while building hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

What you’ll be doing
  • Complete the Level 2 LGV apprenticeship standard (first year supporting the yard team).
  • Learn to operate HGV vehicles safely and in line with tachograph regulations and driver hours legislation.
  • Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, considering articulated vehicle requirements.
  • Deliver and exchange containers safely while providing excellent customer service.
  • Support safe loading of vehicles to minimise product damage.
  • Carry out vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness.
  • Help maintain the driving cab and load area to prevent contamination.
  • Report any accidents promptly in line with legal and company procedures.
  • Attend ongoing training to stay up to date with industry changes and legislation.
  • Provide support to the Site Administration team where required.
What we’re looking for
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Aged 18 or over (required for HGV licence eligibility).
  • GCSEs / National 5 (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Level 4 or above).
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Good understanding of health & safety principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self‑motivated with a positive, proactive attitude.
