Are you an organised, hands-on logistics professional with an HGV licence? We're looking for a proactive Yard Logistics Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy Top Used vehicle yard.
This is a key operational role where you'll ensure the smooth, safe and efficient movement, preparation and presentation of used commercial vehicles.
You'll work closely with our Sales, Workshop and Operations teams to ensure vehicles are ready for customer handover, while maintaining exceptional yard organisation and high health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day organisation and operation of the Top Used vehicle yard.
- Complete vehicle check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain effective yard organisation, vehicle traceability and space management.
- Control vehicle keys and coordinate customer handovers.
- Liaise with workshop teams and external valeting providers to ensure vehicles are prepared and ready within agreed timescales.
- Drive and move commercial vehicles safely around the site in accordance with licence requirements and site procedures.
- Refuel vehicles where required, following all health and safety procedures.
- Ensure the yard is maintained to a high professional standard, supporting both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Promote and maintain compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Provide support to additional Top Used sites when required on a temporary or rotational basis.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid HGV Licence (essential).
- Previous experience within a vehicle logistics, transport, automotive or yard environment (preferred).
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Operations and Workshop teams.
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a vehicle operating environment.
