Forklift Operator

We are urgently recruiting experienced and reliable Forklift Drivers / Warehouse Operatives for a busy and fast-paced warehouse in Bellshill. This is a hands-on role involving a combination of forklift operation and general warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently

• Loading and unloading vehicles

• Moving, stacking and organising palletised stock

• Order picking and packing

• Preparing goods for dispatch

• Stock control and location management

• Carrying out general warehouse duties

• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation

• Completing paperwork and basic scanning tasks

• Adhering to all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Valid and in-date Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach)

• Previous experience working within a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting

• Willingness to complete manual handling and warehouse duties alongside forklift work

• Good level of numeracy and attention to detail

• Strong reliability and timekeeping

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move stock when required

• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods

• Ability to work in a busy and physically active warehouse environment
