will include, but not be limited to:

• Work directly with the engagement partner
• Responsible for a portfolio of clients including planning the engagements for the year and allocating staff, compliance etc.
• Manage work in progress including work in progress overruns
• Assist with engagements where necessary
• On-the-job mentoring and training of trainees;
• Reviewing the work of trainees, ensuring quality is maintained
• Tracking the progress of the engagement, providing feedback to engagement partners and clients where applicable
• Reviewing of SAICA assessment forms
• Administrative duties including timesheet approvals, leave approvals, system updates, assisting with quotes

• Eligible to register as a CA(SA) or registered CA(SA). ADP opportunity available.
• Working knowledge of Case Ware, Excel, Word, Pastel, Microsoft Outlook.
• Profsoft experience advantageous
• Experience in compilations, reviews, audits and tax calculations.
• Knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, VAT, Income Tax, Companies Act, Auditing Standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
• Own transport, a valid driver’s license.
