Senior Product & Process Engineer

Senior Product & Process Engineer required in Bellville.

A renowned international manufacturing engineering company is looking for a Senior Product & Process Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town.

Take full engineering ownership of the product range. Drive continuous improvements in cost, quality, productivity and manufacturing capability through practical engineering solutions.

A senior engineer with a proven track record of improving manufacturing processes, reducing costs, increasing productivity and successfully implementing engineering solutions in a production environment.

• BEng Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 8 years’ manufacturing experience.
• Experience in process engineering and continuous improvement.
• Experience reducing Cost of Sales and improving product profitability.
• Experience leading engineering projects from concept to implementation.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery and production systems.
• Hands‑on, practical engineer with strong problem‑solving skills.

• Take full engineering responsibility for the Flat Wire product range.
• Reduce Cost of Sales (COS) through engineering improvements.
• Improve manufacturing processes, productivity and product yield.
• Identify and qualify alternative raw materials and manufacturing methods.
• Work with the Design & Automation team to improve machinery and implement new technology.
• Work with the Quality team to ensure products consistently meet customer requirements.
• Work with Production to improve throughput, efficiency and process stability.
• Lead capacity expansion and improvement projects for the Flat Wire product range.
• Analyse production data and implement practical engineering solutions.
• Develop and maintain process specifications, engineering standards and manufacturing documentation.
