Senior System Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Microsoft Systems Administrator to join a large enterprise IT environment supporting business-critical infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled infrastructure professional with strong Microsoft server administration and VMware experience who enjoys working in complex, high-availability environments.

• Administer, maintain and support Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Provision, configure and manage virtual servers within VMware vSphere.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP services.
• Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues.
• Administer Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Plan and implement Windows Server patching and security updates.
• Perform server provisioning, migrations and lifecycle management.
• Support backup, recovery and disaster recovery activities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with networking, security and application teams to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Minimum 3 years' experience supporting VMware vSphere environments.
• Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Experience administering Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365.
• Experience supporting enterprise production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
• VEEAM Backup & Replication
• Power Shell scripting and automation
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM)
• ITIL Foundation
• Microsoft or VMware certifications
