The successful candidate will perform a Business Analyst role with a pre-sales and solution support focus, working alongside sales, product and solution architecture colleagues to position the HiTrust transfer agency platform with prospective and existing clients.
The role will combine core business analysis - requirements elicitation, gap analysis and functional solution design - with hands-on demonstration and proof-of-concept work, translating client business requirements into credible, tailored solution narratives and system walkthroughs.
The successful candidate will also support delivery teams through implementation, ensuring continuity between what is demonstrated during the sales cycle and what is subsequently built.
TheKey Responsibilities will include:
- Review, analyse and evaluate client and prospect business requirements against HiTrust platform capability, performing fit-gap analysis and identifying where requirements are met through configuration and where development is required.
- Prepare, configure and deliver tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concept environments, using client-relevant data, fund structures and processing scenarios to evidence platform capability.
- Act as a subject-matter expert in client-facing sales meetings, workshops, due diligence sessions and site visits, presenting the solution and responding to functional and operational questioning with credibility.
- Propose and analyse solutions for client business problems, and author subject-matter content for RFI's, RFP's, due diligence questionnaires and solution proposals.
- Maintain and continuously improve the demonstration environment and supporting demo asset library, ensuring content remains aligned to current product releases and market requirements.
- Document requirements, define scope and objectives, and write functional requirements and solution design documents to an auditable standard, ensuring pre-sales commitments are carried cleanly into delivery.
- Facilitate and lead workshops with the development team to review, optimise and finalise the solution. Play back the solution with the clients and secure sign-off.
- Support scoping and estimation of prospective opportunities during the bid process.
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development and client deployments, including on-premise installations within client-managed infrastructure.
- Explore system solutions for existing and prospective clients to meet product, processing and regulatory requirements, and feed market and competitor insight back into the product roadmap.
- Ensure engagement and communication is maintained both internally and externally for the life of the projects through project status updates.
- Confident presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to hold the attention of a senior client audience and adapt content and depth to the room.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the capacity to decompose complex operational processes into clear, testable requirements.
- Ability to translate technical platform capability into clear business benefit, and to construct a persuasive solution narrative from a set of client requirements.
- Excellent written communication, with demonstrable experience producing functional specifications, solution documents, process flows and bid response content.
- Understanding of IT systems, databases and infrastructure involving the integration of multiple systems.
- Working understanding of requirement management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
