Reading Specialist (Part‑Time)

Base pay range: $50.00/hr – $55.00/hr

Tact Staff is seeking a dedicated Part‑Time Reading Specialist to join a high school team in Massachusetts for the 2025–2026 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator passionate about literacy instruction, intervention, and helping students reach their academic potential.

• Provide targeted reading interventions for students performing below grade level.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate literacy strategies across subject areas.
• Assess student reading levels and progress using diagnostic tools.
• Develop and implement individualized or small‑group instructional plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress with staff and families.

• Active Massachusetts Teaching License with a Reading Specialist or Reading Certification.
• Experience working with secondary‑level students preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
