McLean Hospital Behavioral Health Partial Hospitalization Program Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship
McLean Hospital's Behavioral Health Partial Hospitalization Program is pleased to offer a post-doctoral fellowship that focuses on CBT-based treatment within an acute, transdiagnostic adult treatment setting. The fellow will contribute to the BHP's multidisciplinary treatment model and mission by providing group and individual therapy to BHP patients.
In addition, this fellowship provides an opportunity to serve on a high-risk suicide prevention consult team. The mission of this group is to enhance knowledge and implementation of evidence-based, suicide-specific psychosocial interventions across acute and subacute care settings. The fellow will conduct psychotherapy consultations for patients identified as high risk for suicide and, when applicable, follow their care across multiple levels on the continuum of care at McLean.
Fellows also have the opportunity to supervise junior trainees and to participate in multidisciplinary treatment team rounds, clinical seminars, case conferences, and a rich variety of Grand Rounds lectures, colloquium, and other learning opportunities offered to the wider McLean Hospital community.
Prior to the fellowship, trainees must complete all requirements for their doctoral degree, confirmed by either a letter from their department chair or an official school transcript.
