Employee Relations Specialist

Job Summary

Our client is looking for an experienced Employee Relations Partner to support leaders and employees across a complex, fast‑paced environment. This contract position is expected to continue for at least 3 months and requires a hybrid schedule with at least some time on‑site in Belmont, MA.

$55.00/hr - $65.00/hr

• Conduct confidential workplace investigations, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and misconduct
• Consult with leaders on performance management, corrective action, and employment decisions
• Manage ADA, religious, and pregnancy accommodation requests
• Provide guidance on policy interpretation, employee relations issues, and conflict resolution
• Partner with HR Business Partners, Employee & Labor Relations, and Legal on complex matters
• Utilize HR case management systems (HR Acuity, Workday) to document and analyze cases and trends

• At least 3‑5 years of Employee Relations experience, preferred experience in the healthcare industry and union experience
• Experience leading workplace investigations
• Strong consultation experience supporting managers with corrective action and performance improvement
• Experience managing ADA and religious accommodations
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, complex environment
• Strong communication, relationship‑building, and judgment skills
