Location:

Belmont, Charlotte Metro Region, North Carolina. Position is at Caro Mont Regional Medical Center‑Belmont, scheduled to open the 10‑bed Level‑I LDRP Nursery in 2025.

• Lead daily rounds on newborns and attend deliveries as requested.
• Take call from home and manage patient care for anticipated 600 deliveries per year with an average daily census of ~5 newborns.
• Stabilize, manage, and facilitate transport of newborns needing higher‑level care to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 4 NNPs/Pediatric Hospitalists and a sister Level‑III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5‑6 NNPs.

The new Level‑I unit will serve as a primary nursery and referral point for higher‑level neonatal care. The team will provide comprehensive care within the Caro Mont Regional Medical Center network.
