Our Beloit, KS location, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Intern. In this role, you will formulate, coordinate, and implement all Manufacturing Engineering activities in areas of responsibility.
Your Impact- Support the production floor during required activities and product launch periods where you will help with the development and documentation of new processes and procedures.
- Develop new standard data by time study or MTM as well as develop cost estimates of manufactured components/materials ensuring completeness, accuracy, and conformance with required delivery schedules.
- Lead improvement initiatives to gain efficiency in the manufacturability of current processes while communicating effectively with your AGCO colleagues.
- Resource management, planning, and interfacing with other production groups including interface with our MRP system and planning group to ensure timely production.
Experience and Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college program pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing engineering concepts, manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, floor layout, and workflow.
- Willingness to contribute in a collaborative team environment, with a proactive attitude toward learning, supporting team goals, and participating in improvement efforts.
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as Pro/Engineer (Creo), Solid Works, or similar software is a plus but not required.
You will work onsite at our Beloit, Kansas site to team up with your wonderful AGCO colleagues.
