ABC’s National Support Center in Beloit, WI is currently seeking a talented Merchandising Analyst. Reporting to the Manager of Pricing & Analytics Support, this associate will provide hands-on product-focused analysis by developing reports, tools, and dashboards for use by management at various levels within the organization.

• Work with key stakeholders to determine their merchandising intelligence needs and develop reporting to support those needs throughout the organization
• Collaborate with category leaders to develop actionable insights that drive incremental profit to ABC
• Support tracking of existing rebate programs to maximize program attainment.
• Enhance processes for inventory management and profit optimization, by working cross-functionally with Merchandising and branch teams
• Design and execute market research projects to answer specific business questions
• Report and communicate strategic information to various levels of management by translating data into innovative analysis
• Publication and analysis of month-end reports that focus on vendor, merchandising, and sales/gp performance
• Run ad-hoc analyses and reporting requests as needed

• Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Math, Statistics preferred)
• Proven ability to think critically and self-direct ad hoc analyses
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization
• 5+ years of related experience
• Experience with Tableau, OBIEE and/or other analytical tools preferred
• SQL required, Python or R preferred

• Strong analysis and problem solving skills
• Exceptional communication/presentation skills at all levels within the organization
• In-depth knowledge of pricing, merchandising concepts and analysis
