The School District of Beloit is looking for a compassionate and reliable Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team! This position supports students with disabilities across academic, behavioral, and functional areas under the guidance of a licensed teacher.

• Assist students in classrooms, transitions, and activities
• Provide academic and behavioral support
• Support student independence and IEP goals

• High school diploma, 48 college credits, or an associate’s degree; or formal assessment test (Para Educator Master Teacher)
• Possess or eligible to obtain WI Special Education Program Aide Certification (#883)
• Experience working with youth or students with disabilities
• CPI training (preferred or will be provided)
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Possess basic information technology and media skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Maintain confidentiality and positive rapport

Valid Wisconsin DPI license #833, Special Education Program Aide Certification, is required at the time of hire.
