• Design, validate, and optimize production processes for large‑scale welded components and assemblies.
• Work cross‑functionally with design, quality, operations, and project teams.
• Support robotic, laser, and continuous‑improvement efforts.

• Develop, document, and maintain welding and fabrication processes for large assemblies (MIG, TIG, resistance, laser, robotic).
• Program, support, and optimize ABB robotic welding systems (or equivalent).
• Create and maintain WPS, PQRs, and weld qualifications per AWS, ASME, ISO standards.
• Design weld sequences, fixture strategies, tooling to control distortion, residual stress, dimensional stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve weld defects using root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with design engineering on geometry, tolerances, material selection for better weldability.
• Provide hands‑on support and training on shop floor.
• Partner with quality/inspection groups to utilize NDT feedback to close the loop on issues.
• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Track, report, and analyze process metrics and propose improvements.
• Support cost estimation and technical proposals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Welding Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of process engineering in welding manufacturing large assembly environment.
• Hands‑on expertise in multiple welding methods, including robotic and laser welding.
• Experience programming and supporting ABB robotic systems (or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of metallurgical behavior, material weldability, heat treatments/coatings.
• Familiarity with CAD, CAM, weld simulation, or process modeling tools.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS, ASME, ISO 9001/ISO 9100 or applicable standards.
• Demonstrated capability to work cross‑functionally with design, operations, QA.
• Proven track record in leading process improvements, cost reduction, quality enhancements.
• Excellent communication, documentation, problem‑solving skills.
