Beloit Health System at Beloit Memorial Hospital is hiring a Diabetic Education Coordinator to join our team.The Diabetic Education Coordinator will coordinate and provide the diabetic education for inpatients and run the outpatient ADA certified diabetic program. The Diabetic Education Coordinator will collaborate with providers and nursing staff, provide representation at both the county and state level for diabetes initiatives, initiate and maintain policies, assist with revising to maintain current evidence‑based practice, be actively involved in community programs representing BHS, assist with diabetes education for all members of the interdisciplinary team and as a clinical nurse educator as needed within the education department.
Requirements:- BSN Required with current WI RN License
- Ability to work independently and set priorities and goals
- Demonstrate initiative to maintain updated clinical practices
- Experience working as diabetic educator, providing educational programs or instruction on diabetes preferred
- Certification Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDCES) Preferred
