The Therapy Department at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Beloit is looking for an OT Occupational Therapist to fill a full‑time position. You'll be part of our esteemed skilled nursing facility, providing outstanding and individualized care.

Using therapeutic techniques, you will improve, rehabilitate, or maintain the patient's motor skills and overall ability to perform everyday activities. The OT Occupational Therapist will assess the patient's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively understand the needs of your patients, and explain the treatment process.

Additionally, you must be able to clearly document treatment plans and progress, and effectively communicate with the patient's family or caregiver. While we cannot guarantee hours, we are typically able to offer a full caseload. Majority of our facilities are in close proximity, allowing us to offer you additional hours at nearby locations.

Staff are eligible for performance reviews, where there is always an opportunity for an increase.

What's great about our field is its variety of practice areas. Therapists/DORs that leave our company, mostly do so to pursue other practice specialties. While many stay PRN with us, we rarely see our therapists joining a competing SNF.

Salary: $36 - $45 per hour
