The role of the Maintenance Scheduler is to oversee the development of the Weekly Work Schedule and support the Maintenance Team Advisors in creating the Daily Work Schedule. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and involves daily responsibilities.
This is an interview position. Candidates will interview with the Maintenance Manager, Plant Manager, and HR.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Maintenance Scheduler's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities
- Expedite scheduling of food safety and other safety-related work.
- Utilize 100% of resource availability when creating schedules.
- Develop the Weekly Work Schedule.
- Collaborate with the OMC to prioritize work for the Weekly Schedule.
- Facilitate Weekly Scheduling Meetings.
- Create load-balanced work schedules.
Supporting Responsibilities
- Attend Daily Scheduling Meetings.
- Develop the Daily Schedule.
- Coordinate asset availability.
Performance Measures
Monitor and evaluate performance using site-identified KPIs:
- Preventive/Predictive Work Schedule Compliance
- Preventive/Predictive Work
- EAM Work Order Hours
- Scheduled Work
- Maintenance Overtime
- Work Backlog Size in Crew-Weeks
- Weekly Schedule Compliance
- Work Mix by Priority
Qualifications
Prerequisites for applying include:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in similar facility maintenance/operations preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use project management and resource scheduling applications
