Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a mid-shift assignment at a hospital and trauma centre, requiring active WI or compact RN licensure and TNCC/TNS certification.

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Either TNCC or TNS certification required
• AHA Provider Level required to start for BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Flu vaccination required

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital and trauma centre
• Mid-shift schedule with shift times of  and
• 13-week assignment length
• May be required to work at a second Emergency Department location in Janesville
• Utilises the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques, policies, and standards of care
• Performs assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care
• Develops and executes individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by physician or clinic policy
• Participates in department performance improvement activities and shared governance
• Provides clinical expertise and guidance to other units in support of patient care plans
• Utilises critical thinking for patient safety and escalates concerns through the appropriate chain of command
• Participates in professional nursing continuum, unit practice activities, and peer review processes
