Overview

We are hiring immediately for full time and part time COOK positions at The School District of Beloit, 1500 Fourth Street, Beloit, WI 53511. Online applications accepted only.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
• Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour.
• Perks:

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portioning, ensuring proper temperature, attractiveness and taste. Tastes all prepared items.
• Maintains accurate records, follows established ticket procedures, and ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains high standards of cleanliness, and stores or discards excess food per safe food-handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized; ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed; assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies; reports needed maintenance or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings; maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Performs duties safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment; follows HACCP standards and proper presentation and portion control.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures, including use of protective equipment and proper lifting techniques.

• Requirement:
  Previous culinary experience is preferred, but not required.
