An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join Vaillant Group, a business known for its high engineering standards, investment in people, and long‑term stability.

Based at a modern, highly automated manufacturing site near Belper, this role offers the chance to work with advanced machinery in a well‑structured environment, supported by a collaborative and experienced engineering team.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns.
• Diagnose faults across both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Work with PLC‑controlled equipment, drives, motors, sensors, and pneumatics.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Update maintenance activities within a CMMS system.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site standards.
• Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams.

Essential:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills.
• Confidence with fault‑finding and PPM activities.
• Professional, team‑focused approach.

Desirable:

• Experience with PLC fault‑finding or automation systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS software.
• Relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent).

• 06:00 - 14:30 (Monday-Thursday)
• 14:30 - 23:00 (Monday-Thursday)
• 06:00 - 12:00 (Friday)
• 12:00 - 18:00 (Friday)
• No night shifts.
