The Physical Therapist carries out individualized therapy programs including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, and communication to maximize a patient's progress toward achieving functional goals. The PT supervises therapy assistants, aides and students.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs for patients in acute care, inpatient rehab, and/or outpatient settings.
• Coordinate the treatment program with other clinical/therapeutic services.
• Develop comprehensive goals for treatment to maximize patient outcomes.
• Deliver care and modify the care plan in accordance with the patient’s needs.
• Serve as an educator to patients, families, students and colleagues.

• Weekend rotation – as needed.
• Prefer experienced PTs for the weekend rotation; or new grads with more extensive inpatient clinical hours completed.
• Minimum education required is a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master’s degree preferred.
• Current state professional license or license eligible.
• Good interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Word‑processing skills preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Saving (BCLS) – American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; diagnostic skills consistent with professional degree.
• Proficient with computer software programs.
• Proficient with patient care related equipment.
