Kansas City Composting, a sister company of St. Louis Composting, producer of STA-Certified Compost, Mulch Products, and Soil Blends, is looking for a full-time Laborer to work at its locations in Belton, MO, and Lee's Summit, MO.
Job Requirements- Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week
- Willing to work on Saturdays and Sundays
- Work hours between 8 and 10 hours on scheduled days
- Report to work site no later than 6:45 am
- Ability to read and understand English
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Pass an extensive drug screening
- Submit to a criminal background screening
- Use hand tools safely
- Operate a skid steer
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willing to work shift and overtime hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong team player with a positive attitude
- Strong work ethic, proactive in assisting others
- Landscape laboring experience
- Mechanical skills
- Heavy equipment operation experience
