Housekeeper Lead

Cedar Crest offers a full continuum of care including adolescent residential, inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospitalization/intense outpatient treatments.

• Perform cleaning duties safely and in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations or law.
• Follow organization policies and procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and supplies, using appropriate processes and germicides.
• Perform other housekeeping duties such as moving and arranging furniture, turning mattresses, cleaning kitchens, utensils, silverware, and floors.
• Launder soiled linens as directed.
• Maintain adequate cleaning supplies and properly clean and store all equipment after each shift.
• Practice infection control measures routinely. Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations and furniture.
• May oversee daily housekeeping operations for the facility.
• May be responsible for stocking supplies.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One or more years of housekeeping experience in a healthcare or related environment required.
• Previous lead experience preferred.

• Valid state driver's license, if required.
• CPR and de-escalation/resistance certification required (training provided upon hire).
• First aid may be required depending on state or facility policies.
