Role OverviewStratasys Direct Manufacturing (SDM) is seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector II to play a critical role in ensuring product quality from start to finish. In this position, you’ll support inspections across every stage of the manufacturing process—from raw materials to final product—while ensuring strict compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and purchase orders.
What You Will Be Doing- Perform incoming inspection and testing as required by the work instructions and PO’s with an understanding of quality requirements, specification and purchase orders
- Perform in-process inspection and testing as required by the Work Instructions and drawings
- Perform final inspection and testing as required by the Work Instructions and drawings
- Basic understanding of GD&T and use of portable CMM (FARO, Romer, etc.)
- Perform inspection and document in compliance with AS9102
- Create NCR’s and ensure dispositions are completed
- Enforce company quality standards with special regard to customer satisfaction; product accuracy and appearance; and on time deliveries
- Assist manufacturing departments in implementing quality systems such as ISO 9001 and AS910
